Dreamline DJ is a boutique Vancouver DJ company that was founded in 2015 by Vancouver DJ Mathew Bittroff.

After years of providing DJ service for DJ companies across Alberta and BC, he decided to venture out on his own and set up in Vancouver, B.C.

Dreamline DJ works with a limited number of clients every year which gives us the time to provide the best DJ service possible.

  • Vancouver and the surrounding area. Basically anything west of Hope. We have the means to travel farther, but the cost of gas and a hotel room might be added to our service fee.

  • No. Set-up and take-down are free and are not counted towards your music hours.

  • Have you ever been to a movie theatre where they forget to turn on the pre-show music?

    It’s awkward… everyone is whispering and scared to break the library-like silence. That’s what these venues can feel like without some gentle background music to fill the silence.

    Also during dinner, there will probably be announcements and speeches. The music will need to be faded out and the microphone adjust correctly for each new person speaking. This is simple for a DJ but can be a technical nightmare for your coworker who has never MC’d before.

    Let us handle it! We handle cocktail and dinner music for 90% of our corporate events.

  • Most of our popular holiday dates begin getting wedding inquiries in the spring for the upcoming season, but sometimes you can get lucky and only book a DJ a few months in advance if your event is on a Sunday or a weekday. I would suggest locking down all of your important vendors ASAP.

  • All of our Vancouver DJs are experienced professionals and our general manager and lead DJ Mathew Bittroff has been a part of the wedding industry for a decade. We’ve handled hundreds of events and pleased thousands of happy guests. Check out our reviews page to read testimonials from just a few of our past clients!

  • After years of providing music for weddings, holiday parties, corporate and promotional events all over Vancouver – we have a massive music library full of songs that any crowd will enjoy. 

  • 50% of the total service fee is due upon signing your DJ contract. The remaining balance is due no later than one week before the event date.

    If you are booking within 30 days of your event, payment in full may be required.

  • We accept all major credit cards and mailed cheques and also give clients the option of paying via eTransfer.

  • Yes, using our planning app you are able to pick songs, upload entire spotify playlists, and provide us with “Do-Not-Plays”.

  • Absolutely! As long as we’ve been given the go-ahead to take requests and the request isn’t on the Do-Not-Play list, your DJ will do our best to play it at your corporate event.

    Our event packages include the premium service: RequestNow. This allows you and your guests to send the DJ requests via SMS without even leaving the dance floor.

  • Yes! All of our DJs have vast musical backgrounds and have played at numerous clubs and bars, and music festivals where mixing is at the forefront of the experience!

  • No. We do not offer karaoke service
